The Nambucca Valley lies midway between the cities of Sydney and Brisbane.
The area is well served by long haul bus companies from either Capital City, or by rail and Airlines operating into nearby Coffs Harbour.
By road it is a journey of approx 500 kilometres along the Pacific Highway from either Capital. Most people take around 6 hours to cover the distance by car from Sydney and around 5 hours from Brisbane.
If you are driving down from the New England region, allow for a journey of about 2½ to 3 hours from Armidale.
The journey from Newcastle or the Port Stephens region takes most people around 4¾ hours.
